WCA to host a conference themed “Africa is Open for Business: A Woman’s Perspective”

On Tuesday, 2 August 2016 the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA) will be hosting a conference themed Africa is Open for Business: A Woman’s Perspective. The event is designed to engage delegates with speakers and other attendees and allows for participation in discussion groups and networking. 

The keynote speaker at the conference to be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sandton will be Minister Lindiwe Zulu.

The conference will focus on women in business, ethical leadership and Corporate Governance and will be facilitated by author of Africa Is Open For Business Ten Years of Game-Changing Headlines and expert on African business, Victor Kgomoeswana.

The speaker line-up will feature:

Kimi Makwetu – The Auditor General

Nhlanhla Nene – Resident adviser at Thebe Investment Corporation and non-executive director at Allan Gray
Nicky Newton King – Chief Executive Officer of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Limited
Nonkululeko Gobodo – Chief Executive of Nkululeko Leadership Consulting
Sindi Mabaso-Koyana - Chairman of AIH, (AWCA Investment Holdings) and the Advanced Capital Group
Funeka Montjane - Chief Executive Officer of Personal Business Banking South Africa at Standard Bank of South Africa Limited
