> THE TECHNOLOGY - KWIKBUILD CB Panel Building System < The KWIKBUILD home is constructed of a composite panel, 52 mm thick, consisting of laminated cellulose fibre cement boards with an expanded polystyrene inner board. This top structure is mounted on a concrete slab with a 300mm deep reinforced ring beam or a metal frame, galvanised, with wooden floor boards. The unique panel assembly and steel insert interlocking method provides an extremely strong structure. The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) has tested the panel and house structure for Rain penetration as well for it’s Structural strength and integrity and has duly approved the system for construction anywhere in Southern Africa. SABS report no. 7240/9538 of 2002-09-10.
